First off.

HI. I know not many people read long journal entries (especially from me cause I ramble a lot), but this a warning. THIS IS A LONG ONE.

Part 1: Rants

*copy/pasted from Gaia with some edits*

I want to go see The Princess and the Frog.

My friends don't because they're dumb. "DURR, DIZNEY IZ FER KIDZ THEREFORE MOVIE WILL BE TEH SUX!"

Me: "I thought Up was one of the best movies this summer, it was very emotional and---"
Friends: "YOU ARE A DUMBSHIT!! STAR TREEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!! SOMEONE SAW IT SEVEN TIMES BECAUSE IT WAS SO F*CKING AWESOME!!"
Me: "But in Up---"
Friends: "F*CK THAT, STAAAARRRR TREEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!"

...I am pissed at them.

Anyways, I'm irritated because I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE SO BADLY. ...but I have no one to attend it with (I have probably told a few people this already, XD). I'm pretty sure it'd be weird if I just walked into a theater by myself. ...I also lack a car so... Kind of need to go with someone, XD.

So... I AM PISSED.

....yup.

I need to work on some things myself but it's like, just eating at me now. I really wanted to see it last week, but it was like, "NOPE, KIDDIE MOVIE GROW THE F*CK UP YOU MORON."

....and no, they didn't say that specifically. But hey, what is said is not always what you truly hear. A word to the wise for those who stumble when speaking (myself included). Be clear an concise and don't say anything that can be taken the wrong way. ...too late for those asshats.

....at least I have my special one, and all of my Internet buddies.
You guys all rock!
I apologize for being extremely assertive at points, but I'm just trying to talk to someone.... cause I like talking to people.... >_>

Eh, I don't know where I'm going with this. Sooo....

Change of subject.

HOLY CRAP IT'S A WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

(which means: "crap! I need to finish something up that I have been sort of doing and sort of not doing...")

I hope everyone else has a Merry Christmas too!

//End Rant?

I have no clue if that qualifies as a rant. But yeah, that IS on my mind so I thought fair is fair. ...not that anyone cares. And then I'll go hang out with a bear. ...stupid pears.
(When you rhyme you want to rhyme more)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: ANSWERS!

Lots of peoples are posting their answers to that meme thing. WASN'T MINE EASY, 8D?

I like what :iconyamaguchi-yako: did for hers, giving commentary with each line. ...so I'll do that too! Cause I'm lame like that.

1. "Did you forget boy? I'm a heartless WRETCH."
This movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, GUESSED BY NOMAD!

As said, this line is from Pirates of the Caribbean 3. ...shut up, I love the series and I thought this was a good movie. I've really become desensitized to "mindless action" movies (and it doesn't take much for me to consider a film one), but Pirates 3 is still awesome. This line comes near the end of the film during the huge battle in the maelstrom. Will stabbed Davy Jones and he's all like, "Yeah, that doesn't work." ...well, he didn't say that. He said the line in question. But that is a translation!! ...or something. NEXT.

2. "You'll get what's coming to you..."
This movie is Aladdin, GUESSED BY SHADOWSCARR!

Yup, this is from Aladdin. Begin tallying all the movies and what companies/directors they come from. I seriously do not remember lines from a lot of films. I can say good things about them, but I don't remember any lines specifically. This line is said by Jafar early on in the movie when he's getting the other half of the Scarab from random thief A. Not sure why I remember it... I guess I chose it because it's vague enough that some would have a hard time guessing. ...except not SSK! (...yes, that is still your nickname.) Good job!

3. "Y'know Carl, these people that come here, they all tell pretty good stories..."
This quote is from Up, GUESSED BY YAKO! *too lazy for icons right now*

I love this movie. It was the best movie of the year. Yeah, sorry but, F*CK STAR TREK. Good film, but you can see why I do not really care for it now. (Given you read part 1 of this entry, XD.) Charles Muntz is just a creep. This line did send shivers down my spine when I watching the film. The music added to it and it was just a very terrifying scene. The character designs obviously distract from it, but when you analyze yourself in that situation (and you are 70+ years old), it is pretty scary. ...I'm being vague because I know some people on my DevList have not seen the movie yet. So I don't want to spoil it. FUN FACT: Muntz comes from "Mintz", the jack-ass that stole Oswald the Rabbit.

4. "...that's not all he's lost."

HOW DID NO ONE GET THIS? It's from Spaceballs! It's during that one segment where the radar got "jammed". So Lord Helmet asks a fellow troop what the bloody hell just happened. He responds by saying, "It's lost the bleeps... bop...bop...bop... It's lost the sweeps... Freezzz, Freeezzz, Frezzzz... and it's lost the creeps... Grrzzeeez, Grrrzzeee, Grrrzeee..." Lord Helmet then says to the head honcho that line, "That's Not all he's lost." ...yup. Oh well, only one movie quote missed.

5. "Wait, I have an idea! Call a locksmith!"
This movie is Robin Hood: Men in Tights, GUESSED BY NOMAD!

Nomad got this one! ...it's another Mel Brooks movie, 8D. It's the scene in which uh... I think it was at the end. (This is what I mean by I can't recall quotes from films.) It had to do with opening that cage thing... over her.... yeah. Sort of disgusting, that thing. This quote actually came to mind when reading Yako's quotes since she had the one in Spaceballs with the Virgin alarm. ...it somehow reminded me of this quote. Huh.

6. "...but you have heard of me."
This quote is from Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of the Black Pearl, GUESSED BY NOMAD!

...More Pirates! This is a pretty obvious quote if you've seen the first film. Jack just tells Norrington the truth. I guess Jack is happy to just be recognized, even if it's the "worst pirate I've ever heard of." Silly Jack.

7. "There's the face only a mom would like... I don't have a mom, so I wouldn't know that!"
This quote is from The Santa Clause 2, GUESSED BY SILVER!

Yeah. This is an odd quote. I was watching stuff on ABC Family as I compiled this list. I was drawing a blank and then the Santa Clause 2 was on again. ...this line makes me laugh for some reason. Basically, the Not!Santa has been "drinking" (he says it's cocoa but he's being so crazy I'm pretty sure it was alcohol) and stays up all night making an army of toy soldiers to work for him. He says this line as he completes the toy soldier. I'm not sure why I find it so funny, but I do.

8. "Oh, that darn paperwork! Wouldn't it be easier if it all just blew away?"
This is from Monsters Inc. GUESSED BY HOADAO!!

And the last movie quote. Mike Wazowski talking to Roz. FUN FACT? (I'm not totally sure), the voice of Roz is Bob Peterson, the same co-director of Up who also did the voice of Dug. ...hard to imagine, huh? Again, this is another obvious quote if you've seen the film. ...sooo... that's it for the movie quotes!

SO NOW TO THE VIDEOGAME QUOTES.

These were hard for people. This makes me happy. I do prefer Videogames over movies (except when its an adaptation of a movie put onto a game), because the of the interaction factor. I could watch a movie and not remember ANYTHING from it because it never asked me too. And there's a lot of movies that just throw too much sh*t at you that they're a mess. So in general, if a movie can't pull me in in the first 15 minutes, I won't watch it/I'll ignore it. ...one time I fell asleep though. Whoever said "Batman Begins" is a terrific movie was lying. That movie put me to sleep. ...ironically, "The Dark Knight" did too, but that was because it was late, not because it was physically putting me to sleep.

Anywhooos, GAME QUOTES ANSWERS!!

1. "I'm a fawn, you dork."

I grew up with a PSX as my first TV console (gameboys before that). So I never had an N64. As such, a lot of quotes come from PSX games. Such as this quote which is from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. Spyro 2 is sort of the worst in the original series, IMO. But ...whatshernamethatisafawnwhosaysthisquote... was funny. As was Moneybags, this jack-ass bear who took money from you so you could open doorways and make bridges and stuff. ...his voice changed at the end from proper British to a thug for some reason. Huh.

2. "I'm not staying, I'm evacuating!"
This is from Kirby Super Star/Ultra, GUESSED BY NOMAD!

Kirby quotes! You can't escape my list without them! This is from Kirby Super Star/Ultra, and specifically Revenge of Meta Knight. This is said by Captain Vul (who I think is cool, but no one else does) as the Meta Crew begins to evacuate the dying Halberd. Of all the characters, I think Vul and MK are the only two characters we know safely got off the ship. Vul leaves early on and the rest of the crew stays with MK. The Knights attack Kirby again, but then leave. They say that they evacuate. ...but we never get any real confirmation of it. Vul we can assume got off, he had enough time. Not so sure about the Knights. ...oh, and Sailor Dee. HE WAS THERE UNTIL THE VERY END AND THAT DICK META KNIGHT DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SAVE HIM. Meta Knight is an asshole.

3. "Oh yeah! Gran told us all about those, what exactly are they?"

Time for more obscurity! Not only is this from the PSX, it's from a game not too many probably remember unless they were big into PSX stuff. It's Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return. Tomba's bug pal (who essentially acts like Navi, except is funny and other characters do try to tell him to f*ck off) says this line when discussing these mysterious creatures called the "Cappers" with some miner in the Coal Mines. The line is funny when you think about it. If Zippo (the bug) was told ALL ABOUT the Cappers, why the hell would he be asking what they are? Silly Zippo. Charles had the best lines though, shame I didn't use his "behind the scenes" line.

4. "This whole world is like... a giant toy box!!"

It's... Tomba!, the first one. This is part of the last Evil Pig's speech. The "Real" Evil Pig (the lord of the Evil Pigs and essentially the biggest user of Black Magic in the world of Tomba!) is insane. His speeches in the second game are more (since he appears earlier in the game, rather than an endboss in the first game) but I remember this line so well as a kid going, "What the heck? This guy is silly!" Which is true, but he was annoying to capture.

5. "Guy's a broken record."

No one got this, D=? It's from Kingdom Hearts II. Sora says it after Demyx leaves when he is encountered for the first time in Olympus Coliseum. Funny thing is, in Final Mix+ Demyx reappears again right after that scene to explain the Absent Silhouettes. ...for a cowardly Organization member, he sure was gutsy to show back up again.

6. "Look... would you mind rejoining the enemy?"
This game is Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, GUESSED BY NOMAD!

The best line any unit in Fire Emblem can say to another. Oh Ike, you are silly being selective over who can join your team.

*SPOILERS*
This scene occurs near the end of the game when everyone is against the Army of Order. For whatever reason, Duke Tanas (Oliver the big fatty) did not die in Path of Radiance. He re-appears as a boss in one of Ike's last chapters. Because Tanas is so... odd... He can be recruited. Yes, you can RECRUIT A BOSS to join your army. Put the Heron Prince, Rafiel, in Oliver's line of vision. When it becomes his turn he'll walk right up to Rafiel and demand he join the team so he can protect the rare heron. Rafiel doesn't get wtf is going on, and when Ike talks to Oliver, Oliver is all like, "I MUST PROTECT THE RARE!!" Ike, very puzzled and obviously still hating the asshole for that four-part chapter in Path or Radiance spews the quote in question at Oliver. ...Oliver is oblivious. He has his own battle theme though! That's kind of cool.
*NO MORE SPOILERS*

7. "The contents, fresh cucumbers, sliced thinly if you please."

This is from the pretty decent game, Sonic Unleashed. I don't know what was so bad about it, it was decent. *shrug* Anyways, this is said by Professor Pickle, a character voiced by DAN GREEEEEEEEN. Probably the most memorable character from the game, and he is quite funny. I'm not sure why he's obsessed with cucumber sandwiches (and nobody else seems to know either, Tails is even disturbed when the Professor offers to make him one), but it does make a very funny quote. ....oh, and the Wii version was bad. Don't play that.

8. "I know they supply us with oxygen, but these machines just aren't my thing..."

REVOOORRRRR. REEEEEEEVVVOOOOOORRRRRRR. I am disappoint. How did you not get this one?! I put it on the list for you, D; Ah well, I'm sure with the sea of really odd quotes it does become hard to distinguish them. (I remember one on Yako's list from A Bug's Life that I could have easily gotten had it not been for everyone else saying "Sawshank Redemption", making me think otherwise, XD (and because it was in a sea of quotes that I couldn't figure out, XD.))

THIS QUOTE is from the game MOTHER 3, or to be more specific, the translation done by starmen.net of MOTHER3. This is one of the very humorous scenes from Chapter 7. This is one of the first scenes in the underwater area, and the Pigmasks are refueling their oxygen tanks. I do like how literal and funny the game can get to balance with the emotional trauma. Making really creepy mermen give you mouth-to-mouth for oxygen machines is beyond funny. Everyone feels embarrassed after you refill on air (and you need to for the segment of the game). This quote comes from one of the Pigmasks regarding the special oxygen machines, to which the other comments, "I dunno, I kind of enjoy it, y'know?" ...causing the first Pigmask to back away... VERY SLOWLY. So funny. I needed a good quote from MOTHER3 on my list, so glad this one was it!

9. "I'm Roger Red Ant, and I'm gonna blow you to smithereens!"

More PSX obscurity! This is from Croc 2, a game that had a lot more plot and dialogue... but sort of messed up the gameplay. (Like, if you play the first one the second one is radically different in how you survive and what counts as "dead", first game is still better IMO.) In Cossack Village (which oddly enough, has more lava caves than snowy stages) there is a stage called "DANGER! It's Roger Red Ant!" in which you need to save a bunch of Gobbos from the mutant Ant guy. When you start the stage and everytime you go back to that same point in the stage, Roger taunts you and says this quote for some reason. ...I'm not quite sure why. He just says it. He doesn't really succeed in blowing anyone up though, more of just having some really difficult platforming with a health system that makes no sense. Ah well. I needed a Croc quote, so in it went!

10. "Look what I've got, a new gadget!"

...well, it's a PSX game again. BUT COME ON. No one knows this game?! It's Ape Escape, the very first one where the voice acting was cheesy/good (compared to the next games where they just suck). Natalie, the Professor's assistant, yells this to you whenever you get a new gadget during your progression of the game. She seems so proud of it too, even though she obviously didn't make it, the Professor did! But ah well. I'm kind of curious to see if the game implies Spike or Jake having some sort of crush on her, even though they're 10 (lol, and they sound seventeen (but that's why I thought they were cool, XD)) and she's 14. Ah well. ...ANAKIN SKYWALKER. ...don't ask.

11. "A strange old man in a white coat gave it to me."
This game is Suuuuppperrr Marioooo Sunshine (yahoo!), GUESSED BY REVOR!

This game. Is underrated. I should start by saying, I LOATHE Super Mario 64. It's boring, random on the difficulty meter, some stages look like crap and its music is lackluster save for one or two tracks. (Bowser's Road can kiss my ass, that song sounds so terrible.) So as a result, I have a lot of high appreciation for Sunshine going, "**** the system in the last game, let's do something a bit different!" I love FLUDD, and I liked all the puzzles it had. The segments when it gets rid of the FLUDD are indeed difficult, but it's a fair difficulty. It's not Mario 64 stupid hard or stupid easy. I also thought that Mario, of all games, should have voiced scenes since these characters do actually speak in game. So all of the voice-acted scenes I really do enjoy. ...as to why they abandoned it in Galaxy to the "I AM ROARING THUS IMPLYING I AM TALKING" thing I'll never understand. I think some Nintendo fans are just retarded. I'd rather have the decent voice acting in Sunshine over the stupid "I AM MAKING SOUND EFFECTS THEREFORE I MUST BE TALKING" any day. ...just get the FE characters talking a bit better, XD.

...oh, and this quote comes from the scene where Shadow Mario is revealed to be...!! I'm not telling, you'll have to find out yourself. I did enjoy that twist... even though it is a bit... weird. ...I also loved the environment. MORE GAMES THAT ARE NOT ABOUT VOLLEYBALL SHOULD BE IN A TROPICAL SETTING! ...moving on...

12. "I WILL GRANT YOU ONE WISH... >"
This game is Kirby Super Star/Ultra (Milky Way Wishes), GUESSED BY SILVER!

NOVA> HE ENDS ALL SENTENCES WITH SOMETHING THAT IS NOT A PERIOD>
I AM NOT SURE WHY>>>
HE SPEAKS IN CAPS TOO>

This scene is obviously when Kirby is in front of NOVA, right before that weirdo bashes him out of the way. Is NOVA evil? ...I dunno, is the Genie from Aladdin evil? YOU COULD ARGUE THAT HE WAS!

13. "Truly, if there is evil in this world, it lurks in the hearts of men."
This is from Tales of Phantasia, GUESSED BY HOADAO!!!

The opening quote. While it is not my favourite in the series, it is definitely high on my list. It's a shame that the US version BUTCHERED F**KING EVERYTHING. So if you played that, I'm sorry you were tortured. That version sucks ass.

This quote is epic. Starting the game on this is puzzling at first, but as you complete the full story it all makes sense. It's almost like a warning, given the chain of events in the game. It's funny that the quote comes from Edward D. Morrison, seeing as he is the one that discovered Dhaos' weakness was Indignation. (DON'T START WITH MOCKING THAT SCENE. IT'S BEEN DONE TO DEATH AND IT WAS NOT A MOCKERY IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION.) The second the quote ends, it just stares at you on the screen as the opening song starts up. It's a nicely crafted idea, the low chords that sort of make the quote so ominous and all, only for them to be the intro to a fairly happy song.

As cliche as it is to pick that one, I can't think of a better quote that defines Phantasia. It and Destiny 2 are probably my favourite RPGs from the Tales series, and also my favourite RPGs to use Time Travel without being ****ing messed up.

14. "That brought back some painful memories..."

...I am surprise. No one got this. It's from Tales of Symphonia. Sheena says this after Collet trips a switch after regaining her senses. ....yeah, if you haven't played the game I'm not going to bother to explain, it's complicated. I would have picked a quote from LOL!MITHOS but all of his quotes are lame. ...he is a lame character. He should burn in hell with Twilight Princess. They are terrible things that should have never of existed. ...well, I get to kill him every playthrough, so I do feel happy about that!

15. "Not 'us'."

This quote... Makes me laugh. Especially from the person who says it. This quote is also from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The Black Knight says it to Micaiah when she talks to him in the chapter in the desert. It's just... such a weird thing to say. "Not 'us'." It's like I came up to somebody and said, "HOORAY, WE'RE SAVED!"
"Not 'we'."

I dunno. I think it's weird.

16. "YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!"

This one was added after the initial journal entry. I was sad I forgot a quote from THE MOST EPIC ZELDA GAME EVER. So I put one in. This is from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Ganondorf has never been such a complex character in the series... and probably never will be again since TP fucked him up. This quote comes late in the game when Ganondorf reaffirms the tragedy that occurred in Hyrule in order to seal him. While it amuses him, it also puzzles him why Link is trying to slay him when in fact his ancestors were most likely also wronged by the three goddesses of the Zelda mythology. Link does not quite understand this, being pulled into the fate of the Triforce due to the King of Hyrule, and as such only reacts to this line as one would anyone yelling at him: "O_O" I could have picked any quote from Ganondorf, to be honest. They're all pretty damn epic. But this one was chosen for how short it is, and for the fact that it is a bit cryptic as to where it comes from.
------------------------------------------------------------------

PART 3: CRAZY SHENANIGANS!

Well, since I want to see The Princess and the Frog so badly, some crazy ideas started popping in my head. Mainly to do with Dr. Facilier because I think he is just the best Disney villain ever now. ...and I haven't seen the movie, but hey, I think Maleficent is over-rated. She could TAKE OVER THE KINGDOM whenever she wants. But no, she only does it because she wasn't invited to a birthday party or something. ....wtf. One of the WORST. REASONING. EVER. ...and Chernabog is not a Disney villain. HE HAS BECOME ONE, but he doesn't really do anything "villain-ish" in his segment from Fantasia. ...why people think he is a villain I'll never get. ANYWAYS.

In his song, Facilier is like, "Don't Blame Me, You Can Blame My Friends On the Other SIIIIIIIIDE" and I thought it would be funny if there was a mini-comic where he just does random stuff, people get pissed at him and he's all like, "Well, 8D, Don't blame me! You can blame my friends on the other side~! Bye now!" Like if he didn't pay his bill or something, lol.

THE OTHER idea that started to circulate and has now built up is...
"TALES OF" The Princess and the Frog.

...I'm insane.

I actually noticed a LOT of parallels (from what I know of) between Dr. Facilier and Barbatos Goetia. So I thought it would be funny if Barbatos was Dr. Facilier. ...but then I expanded it. So, at current (this is without seeing the movie but it's so amusing in my head) I thought of these characters playing the other:

Zelos = Prince Naveen
Natalia? = Tiana
Barbatos = Dr. Facilier
Reid = Ray
Meredy = Mama Odie
Raine = Tiana's Mother
Largo = Tiana's Father? (It makes sense if you've played Abyss)
Shirley = That other girl Tiana hung out with in the intro who was really bratty (I Hate Legendia, so I get my revenge, 8D)
Lawrence = Genis (XD)

I haven't thought of anyone for Louis, but I don't want it to be Johnny Sheeden. ...cause I don't like him, XD. Some members of "Reid"'s family would probably be other stupid Tales characters (like Stahn and Lloyd).

I'm probably missing some other ones, but yeah, this whole idea evolved from me saying, "it'd be funny if Barbatos was Dr. Facilier."

My mind is insane.
...and I got Friends on the other--*Shot*

...well, now that I'm dead we're on the same side. Fine then, be that way.

HO SHIT A KIRBY QUIZ

Mon Nov 23, 2009, 3:42 PM
  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: Friends On the Other Side- Dr. Facilier
  • Reading: Fairy Tail, RAVE, One Piece, others
  • Watching: Phineas and Ferb
  • Playing: Finished MOTHER3, ;_;
  • Eating: Not much
  • Drinking: Shouldn't be Soda, but oh well
...that I stole, cause I be a pirate.

SO LET'S DO IT.

KIRBY QUIZ

Are you a Kirby fan? SUPREME OVERLORD OF SUCH THINGS WITHIN THE NATION OF THE US. ...I think.

Just answer the following questions and you and other people can judge.

1. When did you first find out about the Kirby series? Naturally, I’m talking about the one Nintendo made.
When my sister and I got gameboys. She got KDL2. I stole it about a month later seeing as Mario Land was a terrible game for gameboy.

2. Interesting. What’s the first Kirby game you played?
Kirby's Dreamland 2, of course! ...it is the best game ever made.

3. What’s the most recent one you’ve played?
Depends what you mean by "recent". If you mean, "Most recent game released" then that would be Kirby Super Star Ultra. If you mean most recently played by me, that would be Kirby Air Ride.

4. Is there a Kirby game that you’ve been wanting to play?
Kirby's Dreamland 2, =(. Dead battery.

5. Enough about the games for now. Have you watched the anime? It’s called Hoshi no Kaabii (Kirby of the Stars) in Japanese, and Kirby: Right back at ya! in the dub. (Although, I wouldn’t recommend the dub…;)
Yes. I have watched it. ...is that all you're asking?

6. What did you think of it if you have? (Leave this question blank if you haven’t watched it.)
It was super cute. I really do not like Dedede in either version. Whether he's western or an old guy, that is not the Dedede I know. Dedede isn't a dick on purpose, he's just a tad too greedy and misled/misunderstood in a lot of situations. Like Squeak Squad, Kirby just goes on an assault at him because he's Dedede. Dedede is not evil, whoever got that idea (even if it was Sakurai) is a bit loopy. He could have been more of an anti-hero character with MK more antagonistic. After all--IN THE GAMES--MK is much more antagonizing and scheming than Dedede.

Also thought Fumu was a useless character. Kirby should have been the star, not some kind of device the rest of the characters use to save their lives. ...I'm very opinionated on it, I'd say. Also thought some of the pop culture references were just bizarre. (Harry Potter? Seriously?)

7. Meta Knight is epic, isn’t he?
Only when he is chasing you from his crashed ship. I'd love to see that epically animated in which Kirby takes him down once and for all by smacking into him with the wheelie bike. Or better yet, make that some kind of new arena game for City Trial in a Kirby Air Ride sequel.

8. But weren’t you surprised when you saw his actual face for the first time?
Slightly, but I never found it that odd for some reason. My first exposure to him was his trophy in Smash Melee, so I could already see that he must be Kirby-like without the mask. I think he's a bit of a pussy for wearing it around the clock seeing as Kirby does just fine with no armor.

9. Who’s your favourite character in general? I’m referring to the recurring characters. (People like Kirby, Meta Knight and Dedede. You can also pick from the anime if you’ve watched it.)
Well Kirby always, but after that probably Rick, Kine and Dedede. ...Rick and Kine ...and Dedede... all have awesome musical themes. Dedede is quite funny as well. (Except in Dreamland 2 where he's epic due to being possessed by Dark Matter (I liked what DL3 did with that concept, but I think the part where his stomach literally TRIES TO EAT YOU was a liiiiiiitle over the top)).

10. Who’s your favourite antagonist/boss character? Most of them are exclusive to a game, but you can answer with whoever you want.
Dark Matter for sure, Dorocche too I suppose. ...and I already said Dedede, but he is viewed as an antagonist on occasion (usually due to Kirby's lack of information, which is funny).

11. Who do you think was the easiest boss? (In general, out of all the Kirby games you played.)
Nightmare. I honestly say, he's pretty over-rated. His first form is NOTHING compared to Dark Matter's second form in DL2. His second form is ridiculously easy as well. All the rest of the bosses have tried to be more strategic or chaotic, making much more interesting boss fights. Nightmare is a push-over by comparison. (Even to Dedede from that game) ...and Whispy Woods doesn't count, he's almost always the same, XD.

12. Who do you think was the easiest final boss? (In general, out of all the Kirby games you played.)
...oh hi. There was a difference. ....Nightmare yet again, 8D.

13. Who do you think was the HARDEST boss?
Hmm... Kirby Tilt'n'Tumble was difficult all around, but I can't recall if the bosses were THAT hard. Probably Dedede from Kirby's Pinball Land. ...or any boss from that game. They can disable your flippers almost instantly it seems, making it almost impossible to drop out of the fight.

14. Wait for it: who do you think was the hardest FINAL boss?
I'd say ditto here I guess, but I'm sure I can think of something else... Hmm...
...
....

.....

He's not a final boss.
...but he... is...
...the un-holy spawn of the devil if hell was made of water and ice rather than fire and sand.

FAAATTTYYYY WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! *ANGRY FIST*

He may go die in the most utmost bowels of hell. Worst boss ever.
...I have a vendetta against him.

15. In general, do you enjoy playing Kirby games?
Very much. They give you this warm fuzzy feeling*
Everytime I pop one in I get this uncontrollable smile of great happiness that I can't get rid of. They mean so much to me, it's like I'm saying "hiii~" to a part of my soul when I play them. It really is one of the best series ever~

16. In general, what do you think of all the regular enemies? (Mini-bosses included.)
Waddle Dees are awesome. I wish more were given personalities like Sailor Dee and Bandanna Dee (who may or may not be the same or may or not be related!!). Bouncy TVs always freaked me out for some reason. Propeller Bombs and Scarfies scared me as a kid because they're so happy, then you do something wrong and they're like, "GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH!!!" Creepy.
I also always thought Captain Switch was like, the King Gordo, but that makes no sense seeing as Gordos can't be killed. ...or defeated, whatever. Speaking of which, do the enemies die, or just get "defeated"? Kirby's probably one of the most psychotic killers if the enemies actually DIE. Hmm... if I had to pick a FAVOURITE enemy. ....oh, that is tough.

Probably Chilly. I love Ice Ability and Chilly is so adorable.

17. You were wondering when this was coming, weren’t you? Which Kirby games have you played?
Ummmmmmm.....
-Kirby's Dreamland
-Kirby's Dreamland 2
-Kirby's Dreamland 3
-Kirby Tilt N' Tumble
-Kirby Air Ride
-Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
-Kirby Amazing Mirror
-Kirby Squeak Squad
-Kirby Canvas Curse
-Kirby Super Star Ultra
-Kirby's Star Stacker
-Kirby Super Star (the original)
-Kirby's Dreamcourse
-Kirby's Super Star Stacker (JPN only)
-Kirby's Pinball Land
-Kirby's Adventure
-Kirby 64
-Super Smash Bros
-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Super Smash Bros. Brawl (HEY! They count!)

18. Which is your favourite Kirby game?
I swear this was already asked.

Kirby's Dreamland 2. It's the best game ever made. Easy, but challenging. Minimal story, but enough for a great ending to have an impact. Use of awesome new characters and stupendous music. It's the cream of the crop of the series. I don't get why more games don't try to--- oh, Kirby 64 (I honestly consider it the black sheep, it's fairly bland (and ridiculously difficult in some areas like Neo Star)), nevermind. v_v

I WANTS A REMAKE!

19. If that new Kirby game for the Wii was to be released, would you buy it?
The day it comes out, most likely.

20. What do you think of the music of the Kirby games in general?
More of it needs to be arranged. It's great music that is light and fluffy, but also mixes in other styles. I like the use of the rock-ish themes in Ultra Star. They weren't forced and were used at appropriate times. I'd love to hear some tracks from Dreamland 2 updated or orchestrated though. Green Greens has gotten enough of spotlight for now (unless they redid the whole stage in 3D, 8D). Boss music is good too. Probably only OST that has tracks I dislike is 64. But even then, I still like a lot of the music from that game (most bouncy and intense boss theme ever).

LAST QUESTION: Kirby’s just a cute soft little pink puffball of fluffiness, isn’t he?
You bet, ^(~^_^~)^

THE LAST LAST QUESTION: Isn’t Kirby’s ability to inhale, absorb and copy abilities innovative? Would you have thought of that? Be honest.
Probably not, but then again, there are similar abilities to it. The way Kirby utilizes it as a game mechanic is much better I'd say. I also like that these abilities--in some games--are fleshed out into actual characters/enemies. Gives it a bit more depth than just random abilities. It's definitely innovative, and I even have my own idea how it could be super awesome in a 3D Wii game....

THE TRUE LAST QUESTION: Are there any copy abilities YOU have made up or would like to see?
PIRATE. KIRBY. Duh. Stupid Nightmare in Dreamland taunts us with one that could be one, but noooo. I think it would be funny if Kirby got more complicated abilities (like the Super Star ones) of Dedede and other bosses in the games. It just opens the possibilities there. Like, it may sound stupid, but what would a Whispy Woods ability be like? If Kirby ate some form of car enemy (not a wheelie), could he become a car for other allies to ride in and smash people up with? Things like that. The copy ability opens so many doors.

....I'd want to see Pirate Kirby first though. Then some spin-off of Solid Snake Kirby (Mercenary Kirby?) because that would be funny. STEALTH KIRBY MODE ACTIVATED.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was fun.
Oh yeah, I played MOTHER3.
I beat it.
I cried.
It was sad.
YOU SHOULD PLAY IT TOOOOOOO.
Nah, now I wants more Kirby, XD.
So....
Huzzah! A working laptop now!!
...buuuut...
BOO!! I lost EVERYTHING from my previous situation.
My shot laptop was wiped, WIPED, of all information. I thought I had backed it all up...
....I didn't.
Everything from the past two or so years... is dead.
Gone. Kaput. I'm screwed.
Anything/ideas I've come up with from late 07-present are dead. All of my writings are gone, all of my pictures are gone. ....it sucks.
(Most of my music was saved... ...oddly enough)
But there is hope!!
In the process of all of this stupid crap there was one thing that was never wiped-- MY BRAIN.
...yes, I'm crazy.
Also luckily, quite a bit of my story stuff has been saved onto DevArt. ...so I lucked out in many areas! (I also have a few memorable pictures saved to my Wii SD card.)
What I am asking is a very odd task, and will take a few days to compile (in addition to my research paper and what not). I want as many people to comment on this journal entry, asking for story ideas/characters/concepts--you name it--for me to write up and save. I just need to rack my brain to find the right info, and having people directly often helps!
So post ANYTHING you want me to address about ANY of my story ideas (regardless of how well they are developed) and continue to ask until I go, "I'm depleted of info!" I'll archive all of the data and make sure to back it up for real this time.
....yep, that's it!!
LET'S DO THIS!!
(Or not, no one NEEDS to help me after all, >_>;)
It's only 3PM, but today's been long as hell. And things aren't gonna get better for a while it seems.
My main laptop, yesterday, decided to go "WHO NEEDS TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!?" and stopped displaying... the display. I futzed with it for HOURS. Then I asked some of my friends, and got the notion that either a wire connecting the video card to the monitor was loose/bad or the video card was "F U". I had to tell my parents about this and nothing seemed too bad. I was pissed off as all hell seeing as I NEVER did anything bad to it. I tried to take great care of it and it goes and ****s itself up. It's only 2 years old for christ sake.
I guess since my dad was drunk last night, he finally clicked in his head that if I couldn't get my comp fixed (and most roads pointed to there), I would have to get a new one.
Then all hell broke loose.
My dad is a bully. He always has been and hasn't really figured out that no one likes that. He knows it gets things his way (more or less), but he doesn't really give two shits at what expense (usually mental, emotional and earlier on, physical) it takes to get things his way. I honestly can't remember a part of my life where I wasn't scared of him. I'd always hide when he got home when I was young because I was afraid he was going to yell at me and tell me to do something more "productive" (like what he did, sports) or just tell me to piss off.
Anyways, at hearing the waste of more of his hard-earned money he got fed up with me and started yelling at me. Yeah, there were some things he wanted me to do this summer in fixing my brother's and my old desktop computers, but he doesn't understand I'm not a ****ing genius, and if he wants to forgo his precious money he wants me to solve the problem without aid of actual professionals. So he got at me for that and then called me a fucktard for now being at crisis crunch in need of a computer (as I am a college student and I need stuff for studies (ALL of my classes use internet in some form this semester)). I tried to make him understand why I wasn't able to complete his stupid tasks earlier (my old desktop is also set up as our home's router, unplug that and we have no net (unless we reconfigure a new computer there)), but he just shoved me aside and then attacked the rest of my family present (mother and sister) for being money vultures or something and stormed off. Pretty sure if I was closer he would have yelled louder to say, "STOP CRYING YOU FUCKING WUSS", but I was trying my hardest to hold those in. I know I act like an ass sometimes (or a lot of times, depends on your opinion), but that's because I feel safe behind text. It's the only way I know how to fight. I'm not good socially and I'm pretty sure my upbringing can explain why, and reflects that. I'm actually extremely sensitive. I'm a guy, 20.5 years old, and I cry probably at least once a month about something. Sometimes it's because it feels good to get my eyes drowned out, other times it's because of this stuff. It almost always relates back to family.
I hate my dad.
After that episode, the rest of my family and I reconciled and tried to figure out more ways to fix my computer. More calls to other companies and finally our tech-savvy neighbor (bless his soul or however you want to say it) who deals with these kinds of issues at his workplace. We figured out that it is indeed my video card that's shot. It sometimes works, but usually just goes to black or messed up lines and fuzzy crap. I'm gonna take it in to my own tech area of school tomorrow to get it looked at.
For now, my mom is letting me borrow a small laptop of hers. I can't do much on it save for use internet (which is good), but for a lot of my assignments I'll need to take constant trips to the library to type things up.
I got about 1k words done (last night admist my computer having a "good" moment before going completely shot today) of NaNo, but I don't know if I'll be able to catch up or do much anything. I can easily re-write and what not, but a lot of ideas and timelines and framework of the story are on my shot computer. I'd have to start all over unless I can get that stuff off.
So for now, I won't be on AIM or MSN or any other form of chat program because I don't have access (save for possibly skype). I'll be away a lot for now too as I have a research paper to work on and my mom would like me to shut her computer off anytime I am not using it (which may be a lot of times).
Sorry for this bizarre melodramatic/informative post, just thought you all should know in case you're wondering where I am.
Hope you all are having a good wrap-up to your weekends, =)
